ClipDock Privacy Policy

01What stays on your computer

• Clipboard history — text, links, images and file references you copy — is saved only on your PC, in ClipDock's folder in your user profile.
• Screenshots you take with ClipDock are saved on your PC (in the Microsoft Store version: in PicturesClipDock).
• Settings, snippets and trial information (such as the date your free trial started) are saved on your PC.

ClipDock does not upload any of this to us or to anyone else. Copied files are not copied — ClipDock only remembers where they are on your PC.

02Passwords and private content

ClipDock skips content that password managers mark as private, so copied passwords are not saved in its history. You can pause capturing at any time, delete any clip, or clear your whole history from the app.

03What goes over the internet

ClipDock only connects to the internet for these reasons:

• License check: when you activate ClipDock Pro, and from time to time afterwards, ClipDock sends your license key to Gumroad (our payment provider) to confirm it is valid. Gumroad replies with whether the license is valid, refunded, and the email address used for the purchase, which ClipDock shows in its Settings.
• Links you click: buttons such as "Get Pro", "profigma.com" or "MeshShot" open a web page in your browser. What those websites collect is covered by their own privacy policies.

ClipDock does not contain advertising networks, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools, and it does not require an account.

04Purchases

ClipDock Pro is sold through Gumroad. Your payment and billing details (such as name, email, address and payment method) are collected and processed by Gumroad, not by ClipDock, under Gumroad's privacy policy. We receive the order details Gumroad provides to sellers (such as your email address and license key) so we can support your purchase.

05Children

ClipDock is a general productivity tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

06Deleting your data

• Delete clips or clear history inside ClipDock at any time.
• Uninstalling ClipDock removes the app. Screenshots you saved to your Pictures folder stay there until you delete them.
• To ask about purchase data held by Gumroad, email us and we'll help.

07Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
