What Is a QR Code Generator?

Static vs Dynamic QR Codes: Why Some “Free” Codes Stop Working

How to Make a Custom QR Code That Always Scans
Design freedom is great, but a custom QR code must still be readable. The scannability checks in the tool look for the most common problems automatically:
- Contrast: keep dark modules on a light background with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, the same rule the W3C uses for readable text. Test your brand colors with our WCAG color contrast checker.
- Quiet zone: leave a margin of at least 4 modules around the code so the camera can find its edges.
- Logo size: keep your logo under about 30% of the code width and use High error correction.
- Data length: shorter content creates fewer, larger modules. Use a short URL where you can.
