Last updated: September 8, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how FullPageScreenshot ("FullPageScreenshot", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the FullPageScreenshot Chrome extension.
FullPageScreenshot is a Chrome extension that allows users to capture full webpages, visible areas, and scrollable containers, and then annotate, redact, edit, and export those screenshots.
Privacy summary: FullPageScreenshot processes captured webpage content and screenshots locally in your browser. We do not upload your screenshots or captured webpage content to our servers.1. Information We Process
FullPageScreenshot needs access to webpage content when you explicitly initiate a screenshot capture. This access allows the extension to perform its core screenshot functionality.
Depending on the capture mode you select, the extension may process:
- The visible content of the current webpage.
- The full height of a webpage during full-page capture.
- The content of a scrollable container selected by you.
- Page dimensions and scroll information required to create the screenshot.
- Fixed or sticky page elements that need to be temporarily hidden to prevent duplication.
This information is processed only as necessary to perform the screenshot operation requested by the user.
2. Screenshots and Webpage Content
Screenshots and webpage content captured by FullPageScreenshot are processed locally within your browser.
We do not upload your screenshots, captured webpage content, annotations, or exported images to our servers.
Full-page capture works by scrolling the webpage, capturing individual frames, and stitching those frames together locally in the browser.
The extension may temporarily store capture data locally while a capture is being processed and while the captured image is transferred to the built-in editor.
3. Local Browser Storage
FullPageScreenshot uses Chrome's local extension storage to support extension functionality.
Information stored locally may include:
- Temporary capture data while a screenshot is being processed.
- The number of captures used for the Free plan.
- Cached Pro license status.
This information is stored using Chrome's local storage and is not synchronized to our servers.
4. Pro License Verification
FullPageScreenshot has a Pro version with unlimited screenshot captures.
Pro licenses are sold through Gumroad. When you enter a FullPageScreenshot license key into the extension, the license key is sent to Gumroad's license verification service to determine whether the license is valid.
FullPageScreenshot does not operate its own license-verification server.
The extension periodically re-checks an active license rather than contacting the license service every time the extension popup is opened.
Gumroad may process information according to its own privacy policy and terms. Please review Gumroad's privacy practices separately when purchasing or activating a license.
5. Payment Information
Payments for FullPageScreenshot Pro are processed through Gumroad. FullPageScreenshot does not directly collect or store your credit card, debit card, bank account, or other payment credentials.
Payment information is handled by the payment provider according to its applicable policies and terms.
6. Information We Do Not Collect
FullPageScreenshot does not collect or transmit the following information to our own servers:
- Your browsing history.
- Your location or GPS information.
- Your passwords or authentication credentials.
- Your personal communications.
- Your health information.
- Your financial information contained within captured webpages.
- Your screenshots or captured webpage content.
A webpage captured by you may visually contain information such as names, email addresses, messages, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive content. The extension processes that content as part of the screenshot operation you requested, but it is not uploaded to our servers.
7. Built-in Editing
FullPageScreenshot provides editing tools including annotations, rectangles, highlights, text labels, blur and redaction, cropping, and image or sticker placement.
Editing is performed locally in your browser. Edited screenshots are not uploaded to our servers.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to capture, store, edit, and share any webpage content or information contained in a screenshot.
8. Exported Files
FullPageScreenshot allows you to copy screenshots to your clipboard and export them as PNG or PDF files.
Exported files are created locally through the extension. The extension does not upload exported PNG or PDF files to our servers.
9. Chrome Extension Permissions
FullPageScreenshot requests Chrome permissions that are required for screenshot capture and extension functionality.

10. Use of Captured Content
FullPageScreenshot does not use captured webpage content for advertising, profiling, selling user data, or unrelated purposes.
Captured content is used solely to provide the screenshot, editing, annotation, redaction, and export functionality requested by the user.
11. Third-Party Services
FullPageScreenshot uses Gumroad for purchasing and license verification of the Pro version.
The screenshot capture and editing functionality does not require uploading screenshots to a third-party image-processing service.
Other than the license-verification request to Gumroad, the extension's runtime functionality does not require sending captured screenshot data to an external server.
12. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to limit unnecessary access to information processed by the extension.
Because screenshots and captured webpage content are processed locally, that content is not transmitted to our servers as part of the normal screenshot workflow.
Users should exercise appropriate care when capturing sensitive information and when sharing exported screenshots with other people.
13. Children's Privacy
FullPageScreenshot is a general-purpose browser productivity tool and is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the FullPageScreenshot extension.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to FullPageScreenshot, its features, third-party services, or applicable requirements.
When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the beginning of this policy.
